The Celtic Manor Resort
As venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup and home of The Celtic Manor Wales Open, a leading European Tour event, The Celtic Manor Resort offers some of the finest golf courses and facilities in the UK. These include the Roman Road, The Twenty Ten Course and The Montgomerie.
Pyle & Kenfig Golf Club
Pyle and Kenfig Golf Course, affectionately known as "P & K" with its lofty sand dunes hugging the South Wales cost of Porthcawl is situated in a wonderful stretch of golfing country. Glorious views and historic associations adorn this undulating course with its natural hazard of hillocks, valleys and towering dunes.
Southerndown Golf Club
Southerndown is unique in offering part sandy links and part acid-heathland, and due to its terrain it is one of the driest courses to be found throughout the land. We offer all-year-round golf being rarely closed to members and visitors alike. Only snow closes Southerndown.
Ashburnham Golf Club
One of the finest Welsh links courses; Ashburnham celebrated their centenary in 1994 by hosting the Amateur Home Internationals. Members and Visitors alike appreciate the true links experience that this historic venue provides, and together with the stunning scenery and a warm welcome offered in the clubhouse makes Ashburnham an experience not to be missed.
Pennard Golf Club
Pennard Golf Club is located just 8 miles west of Swansea on the Gower Peninsula, designated the UK’s first area of outstanding natural beauty. The holes are routed over classically undulating and tumbling linksland, full of hummocks, hillocks and hollows with dunes large and small, exactly what we might hope to find beside the shore. Yet this exceptional terrain is not beside the shore – it is 200 feet above sea level. No wonder Pennard has been called “the links in the sky”.
Machynys Peninsula Golf & Country Club
A modern links championship golf course, Machynys Peninsula has been designed to challenge the best players in championship conditions - and yet still be enjoyable for the higher handicapper. The shaping of the £3.5m course layout has included the creation of 25 acres of new lakes - salt and fresh water - 12 miles of irrigation pipes and six miles of drainage pipes, to ensure the course is in top condition all year round.
