On behalf of our Captain, David Elliott and myself I want to thank you and the club for your wonderful hospitality yesterday. To say we enjoyed the day would be a massive understatement. From the first welcome to the last good-bye, we were treated extremely well and you have every reason to be proud of your club, course and staff, all of which were exemplary.

My experience at Royal Porthcawl was outstanding. What an incredible course, perfect staff, caddies, food, clubhouse, and every other detail. I heard about Royal Porthcawl by googling “best golf course in Wales”. The next time I am in Wales, I will definitely be back.
I am writing on behalf of all within Cambridge University Golf Club to express our deepest thanks to the members of Royal Porthcawl for hosting us. The course as always was a phenomenal test of golf and was very much enjoyed by all. The golf course was matched by the fantastic hospitality of the club and all the members. The evening dinner was a highlight of the year so far.

It’s always a joy to come to Porthcawl early on in the season with its great members and a special dinner on the Saturday evening. The new boys all immediately declared that this was their favourite fixture.

We had high expectations for our visit and they were exceeded. We’ve toured as a four for over ten years, visiting several countries and playing a few dozen excellent / very good courses. In that company Royal Porthcawl was a highlight.
